Be Safe, Brooklyn
Since the NYPD has decided to blame the victims of recent sexual assaults in Brooklyn rather than find the perpatrators, community members have taken matters into their own hands.
Brooklyn residents recently formed SafeSlope to help keep each other safe. Among other things, they are providing volunteers to escort people home from the subway at night. Find out more at http://safeslope.org/.
